Project-based mentoring, on site, in the laboratory and blended.

Overview

Develop your technical project through a complete two-month workflow, from feasibility and detailed design to prototype development, integration, testing, documentation and final presentation. Standard project materials are included within an approved bill of materials and value limit.

A structured project-development programme for learners and teams who require deeper technical guidance and an approved standard-material package to develop a functional prototype or software solution. TechnoBerg supports requirements, design, procurement, implementation, integration, testing, documentation and final presentation. The project is jointly developed as a learning process; the learner must participate, understand and present the completed work, so they can explain, operate and defend it confidently.

Portfolio evidence for further study or career preparation. Employment is not guaranteed.

Who should join, and what to bring.

Who should join

  • Students or teams requiring a structured end-to-end development process, practical technical assistance and approved essential project materials.
  • College, undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • College and technical students undertaking mini projects, final-year projects, prototypes and innovation projects.
  • Individuals or teams developing innovation or competition projects.
  • Departments seeking structured external technical mentoring.
  • Students working in approved areas such as AI, robotics, embedded systems, IoT, automation, software, data, electronics and related technologies.

Recommended before you start

  • Admission requires feasibility, safety and standard-material approval.
  • The included material package must be approved before enrolment or project commencement.

By the end, you will be able to:

  • Convert a project idea into an approved requirement and development agreement.
  • Compare solution options and prepare architecture, detailed design and milestone plans.
  • Select and use approved standard materials, tools, software and services responsibly.
  • Develop and integrate project subsystems through supervised practical work.
  • Apply theoretical knowledge through practical project activity.
  • Plan and conduct functional, integration, safety and performance testing.
  • Troubleshoot failures, record changes and improve the solution within scope.
  • Produce technical documentation, evidence, report, presentation and viva preparation.
  • Demonstrate and hand over a functional prototype or clearly documented achieved outcome.
  • Develop teamwork, responsibility and technical communication.
  1. Discover and validate the project problem
  2. Design the solution and approve the bill of materials
  3. Develop modules with mentor-led guidance
  4. Integrate hardware, software or data components
  5. Test and record measurable results
  6. Improve reliability and presentation quality
  7. Complete report, slides and demonstration

TechnoBerg provides mentoring and development support; students must actively participate, understand and be able to explain the work they submit. College project rules and faculty supervision remain applicable. Third-party code, data, designs and AI tools must be disclosed appropriately. Plagiarism, fabricated results, unsafe testing and false certification are prohibited. Risk-sensitive projects require suitable authorisation, safety and data controls. IP ownership and publication rights must be agreed for sponsored or commercially relevant projects.

Completion requires learner participation, project evidence and compliance with safety and integrity controls, and is subject to verified participation, attendance, deliverables and assessment. Not guaranteed: marks, college approval, patentability, publication, commercialisation, competition results, employment or investment; unlimited redesign, features, materials, revisions or support beyond the approved scope and duration; a fully completed system when delays arise from learner participation, external approvals, unavailable parts, unsafe scope or technical infeasibility; or submission of work that the learner cannot explain or that violates academic-integrity requirements.

A project participation or completion certificate from TechnoBerg. It is not a TVTC qualification unless separately approved.

Questions people ask.

Yes, subject to approved scope and team size.

No unconditional guarantee can be made; completion depends on feasibility, participation, timely decisions, availability and scope.

No. Students must participate, understand and explain their submitted work.

Approved essential materials are included only as listed in the written scope or bill of materials, and only standard, locally available items within the agreed value ceiling. High-value equipment, reusable lab assets, imported or specialised components, upgrades, replacements caused by misuse, custom fabrication, premium cloud/API credits, licences, travel, third-party services and later additions require a separate quotation. Any scope or material change requires written approval before purchase or development.

Yes, according to department, project quantity, domain, facilities, academic calendar and mentor support.
