Overview

Build job-relevant defensive cybersecurity skills through practical training, and graduate with an integrated capstone and professional portfolio.

A six-month, hands-on cybersecurity programme designed to develop practical defensive capability across systems, networks, applications, security operations, incident response, cloud, risk and compliance. Learners work only in authorised, isolated or institution-controlled environments and build a portfolio of security evidence, reports, playbooks and a final defensive capstone.

The programme supports preparation for junior or developing roles such as SOC analyst, cybersecurity analyst, vulnerability-management assistant, security operations support, junior incident-response analyst, system and network security support and GRC and evidence support. Employment or role eligibility depends on the employer, experience and other requirements.

Who should join, and what to bring.

Who should join

  • IT graduates.
  • Help-desk, system and network personnel.
  • Developers.
  • Technical students.
  • Career changers with strong digital fundamentals.
  • Junior security staff.
  • Professionals seeking applied defensive capability.

Recommended before you start

  • Basic networking, operating-system and command-line familiarity is recommended.
  • A readiness assessment may be used.

By the end, you will be able to:

  • Apply cybersecurity ethics, legal boundaries, scope control and evidence discipline.
  • Analyse network traffic and implement segmentation, firewall and secure-service controls.
  • Harden Linux, Windows, endpoints, identities and directory environments.
  • Use scripting to automate authorised defensive tasks and process security data.
  • Perform vulnerability assessment, prioritisation, remediation and validation in approved labs.
  • Identify common web and API risks and recommend secure-development controls.
  • Operate SOC workflows, investigate alerts and build and test detection use cases.
  • Execute incident-response playbooks and preserve basic digital evidence.
  • Evaluate cloud, identity, data-protection, backup and resilience controls.
  • Support risk, policy, compliance evidence and Saudi NCA-control awareness.
  • Complete an integrated defensive capstone and professional portfolio.

All practical activity is defensive and authorised. Learners may test only systems, targets and datasets explicitly provided or approved by TechnoBerg. Testing public, employer, client or third-party systems without written permission is prohibited. Credentials, malicious code, personal data and evidence must be handled under lab policy and applicable Saudi laws and regulations.

How it is taught

  • Hands-on practical training and applied laboratories.
  • Learners work only in authorised, isolated or institution-controlled environments.

Successful learners receive the course-completion certificate available under the approved provider and programme process. This is not a third-party vendor certification, professional licence or guarantee of employment unless a separate accrediting agreement explicitly states otherwise. Mandatory ethics, authorisation and safety requirements must be achieved. “ACSP” is the proposed TechnoBerg programme abbreviation, subject to legal and name-availability checks and TVTC title approval.

Certificate wording and issuing details will follow the final TVTC approval. No accreditation is claimed before that approval.
